Satellite hookup

My daughter bought a 2018 cougar 30rls and is having trouble with the satellite tv hook up. Kind of wondering if she is missing something easy

most likely not changing the connection behind the TV

I’m not with her. I forwarded it to her. Hope she takes a look at that. Thanks

Peggy, also tell her to make sure she has the signal booster turned off. The booster is only to be used with the antenna on the roof.

If it’s SATELLITE, then that coax should be separate from the antenna/park cable outlet. Booster won’t matter.

Thanks for the ideas. I have forwarded them to her. I’m in Iowa and she is in New Mexico. She’s getting a little down on herself as it’s her first time with the camper so thank you for all the advice.

We only had satellite for a very short time and I don't think I ever realized that it didn't matter. I'm certain that DW turned the booster off when we installed the dish, neither one of us know that it didn't matter. Even as old as I am it is still possible to learn.....(remembering it may be a horse of another color)

No problem. We have Directv at the house and take a SD reciever from the bedroom. DW has to have her HGTV, I get OTA/park cable in the bedroom. Happy wife.....

The coax if run properly should be RG6 from factory. Also it will not be routed thru ANY splitter or booster because standard splitters will not work with satellite tv antenna.
