Sounds like you're on track for a solution.

Do you fly Herc's?

Great, thanks for that information. My pin weight is similar, maybe around 3000 if I remember correctly. I'm thinking it'll be a slightly less with my current set up and the Pullrite hitch was very heavy. I'll play with the fresh water tank also, try it full and empty and see if it makes a difference. The one time I had it weighed I did have both kids, wife, two small dogs in the truck, fresh water tank empty (rear of toy hauler) and all three 30 pound propane tanks full. So, it was as heavy as it ever will be but I should get it weighed again with the F450.

I was "Hercumcised" years ago, too. Enjoyed the interesting ride.

Definitely an interesting ride and very noisy but a great plane. I like the "Hercumcised", don't think I've heard that one. My wife says I'm deaf already. Being around planes your whole life definitely takes a toll on your hearing.

There's an awful section of hwy we travel annually that was terrible for porpoising. Last year I added a morryde pin box, air bags, and new shocks in the truck (bilsteins). This combo of things greatly smoothed things out. I can't say it eliminated it, but there was a noticeable and significant improvement.
