Sandbridge Virginia

Hi all, considering a 2 week vacation starting off at Sandbridge Beach Virginia. Any advice on where to stay? We have a 34' Outback 300RB TT. Its a thousand miles from home so don't really want to wing it for the first time. If we do make it there, we will ease our way back inland possibly.

Did an unsuccessful search. Thanks for any advice.

I don't think there is a campground in Sandbridge anymore. Used to be a really nice.
There is a KOA in Va Beach that is really nice. You would have to drive to Sandbridge but it is only like 20 minutes away.

oldcow, Howdy;

This is the closest that I remember (was stationed/lived in Va. Bch.
for 11 years).

But you can use that page and back out to just the Va. Bch.
and surrounding area to see what else might suit ya.

Hey I live in Chesapeake which is basically Virginia Beach and there is a campground in Sandbridge called Indian Cove.
http://indian-cove.com

We have never been though.
There is a KOA at Virginia Beach, pretty nice but never stayed there either.
North across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is a great campground called Cherrystone, a lot of great reviews.
We venture down to the Outer Banks where we have a membership at Camp Hatteras. Absolutely awesome place but it another 2 to 2 1/2 hours away from Va Beach.
If I can be of any help let me know.

Thanks for the replies. We are changing our plans and probably will not make it that far south this year. We are now thinking Lancaster PA area. I will post up on a new thread.

I think Indian Cove is a private resort. My family used to stay there for 12 or 15 years in a row back in the 70's and 80's then they turned it private and you had to buy a membership or something. Was a great place.
