RV Comfort Systems

Looking at Trailer Life came across an interesting article on adding an electric heater to my LP system. They're made by RV Comfort Systems This unit would add an electric system to our current LP system allowing us to us electric heat instead of LP but would still maintain the LP system.

Any feedback on this system would be appreciated. BTW, ours is a 30 amp system

Thx, Eddy

Here's a start: http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/sho...ectric+furnace

Do a forum search for "electric furnace", "add on furnace" "electric heat" "supplemental heat" and you'll find lots more information about the system.

Bottom line, the 50 amp version may work about as well as the existing furnace, the 30 amp model barely meets the same output as a $20 space heater. That's 5000 BTU's of heat.
