tt awning

I have a 2002 keystone springdale (247fbls) the awning is in the rolled up position with material peeling off so I know it needs to be replaced. can anyone give me some idea of cost to have a new awning installed,we very seldom use the awning but it is nice to have it at times.

First of all, to the Keystone Forum family. We all hope your visits here will be enjoyable, entertaining and educational.

As for a replacement awning fabric, it is very difficult to say what it would cost. There is vinyl, acrylic fabric, metal wraps all of which have different costs. Usually you can purchase the awning fabric of your choice from an RV store and install it yourself, but if you need to have someone install it for you, that would be an added expense. Often, as in the link I'm providing, you can find several different sizes available for the same price, however that's not always the case, especially when ordering from a local company.

Welcome to the group. I had mine done in 2012 for $400. Could have done it myself for about half but didn't want to fool with it.

Camping World sells an awning repair tape that may get you through until you decide. Strong tape but about $17.00 for the small roll. Does go a long way tho. Good stuff. I had a few spots that came up about a year ago and she is still holding strong.

thank you to everyone for your replies. the awning is beyond patching and camping world quoted a cost of 500.00, I was hoping to find a lower price, doing the work myself is not possible.
