Tankless

Looking fo information on how to ,after a switch from 6 gal. To Tankless, wire to the iN·command system? Switching is easy but wiring is the problem. I have it working by just hooking up 12 volt. But would like to be able to turn on or off at in command.
The old one was both gas snd electric and new is just 12 volt.

My tankless has a separate controller from the in command
