Inputs for tv coax

I’m trying to make the tv work with the aerial antenna mounted on the trailer. Can someone explain why I have three different spots to hook a coax cable to behind the main tv in the living room. The tv is a legend led and I’m not even sure if has the right input selected but I have tried the ones I thought made sense for antenna. But all I get is the tv telling me no signal.

I believe there should be s jumper cable on the dual outlet plate for antenna use.

I put a jumper between the two outlets and did manage to make the tv work in the bunkhouse but the tv in the living room will not let me select the channel icon in the setup to allow me to change from cable to air.

No personal experience with your model TV, but from what mine does, make sure you first have the input choice set to TV or Antenna, not one of the HDMI or AUX settings, then the Cable/OTA selector magically ungrays.

You need a short (or long if you prefer) jumper cable between the two coax outlets on the right plate and you connect the TV (antenna in) to the coax outlet on the plate with the cigarette lighter plug. There's a small button switch on that plate. Push it and a red or green light will illuminate, indicating that power is applied to the amplifier/booster in the antenna head. For over the air (OTA) viewing, the light should be ON, for cable/satellite viewing, the light should be OFF.

Here's a photo of what you should have. Connect the TV to the coax outlet, turn on the amplifier/booster, set the TV to OTA reception and run a channel search. You should have audio/video on the screen.

Thanks for the help we got it working on both TVs. Wife apparently has some magical touch that I don’t have.

Yep, that is correct.

Yup, The jumper is removed to connect a satellite receiver or a digital cable box (some campgrounds have encoded digital cable and charge extra to get the box so you can view their cable TV). To connect either device, remove the jumper, the "OUT" coax connector goes to the "IN" connector on the satellite/cable box and the "OUT" connector on the box goes to the "IN" connector on the plate.

If the cable TV doesn't use a digital encoded box, then the jumper routes the "outside connector" directly to the splitter behind the "cigarette liter box" and then to the TV.
