Comparing exterior finishes

I am unsure of the various exteriors on RV's. I'm aware of Filon, full body paint, and fiberglass gel coat. My Montana HC is Filon I think, and my Bigfoot is gel coat fiberglass. So what is a high gloss finish? I assume Filon with a better paint job? Are most full body paint jobs painted on Filon?
Question came up while looking at different models. Some advertised as high gloss exterior. Is there a difference in exterior finishes of say...a Montana and a Alpine, excluding a full paint option? What does Keystone do to the exterior of a Montana that they didn't do to a High Country?

You forgot Azdel and Keystone is toying with a new side wall construction that can survive totally immersed in water. Paint is paint and easy to spot, Keystone now owns there own paint shop. It is expensive no matter who does it. (if done properly). You can get a high gloss finish from Gelcoat and it can be clear coated. I would assume a unit headed for paint would not be a Gel Coat product due to the extra expense.

Thanks, but what do they do to Filon? It's only 0.0045" thick. Do they paint it and then clear coat it? What do they do different between a High Country and a Montana?
I'd like to see them toy with a finish that doesn't oxidize in Texas heavy dew and intense sun in 8 weeks.
I can take care of gel coat fiberglass on boats and the Bigfoot.
