Wiring

Hoping someone on the forum can answer this wiring question.
I have a 2017 Cougar 28 RKS 5th wheel. Closing it up for the season I noticed a Green and White wire tucked under the lower trim directly under the back right storage compartment. It is aprox. 8 inches long and comes out of the under panel. I checked the circuit and there was no voltage when connected to a 120 source. There is about 15 Ohms resistance so it is obviously connected to something.
I assumed as it was Green and White that it has to do with the Right hand Brakes/Light but it works fine. Does anyone have any idea why this is here?
Thanks in advance.
Chuck

Three things come to mind, none of which I can confirm on your model:

1. Backup camera wiring
2. Solar prep
3. Leveling system wiring for an optional accessory

The tail/brake light wiring on my 2014 Cougar XLite starts out at the umbilical junction box as brown and green and at the tail lights on both sides it is red/white, so I wouldn't put a lot of faith in any "standardized wire color coding system"....

Thanks John:
The "Furion" Backup camera attachment is in place with the wiring intact at the top of the rig, My Solar Plug is attached and is active at the front.
Could you tell me what optional accessory would come with the leveling system as this is my first 5 er.
Leveling system is the Lippert 3.0
Appreciate the quick response.

This is strictly a guess, so take it at face value. It seems you have the optional "level up" system, so that may be the wiring for the "other, less expensive" electric rear stabilizers. Since there are no wiring diagrams available, it's pretty much "anybody's guess" what a green and white wire might connect to or where it comes from. Maybe a quick check of the fuse panel would show a green/white wire? If so, is there any identification or marking on that fuse position that might give you a clue?

Thanks again John:
And any advice in my books is good advice when you don't know what is going on.
Will take a look at the panel to see if there are any clues.
Good to be on a forum where the members are ready to help.
Thanks again.
