Adding An Electric Fireplace.... Has It Been Done ?

I can't get this mod out of my head. I used to think the faux fireplaces / heaters in TTs. 5th wheels were silly. Then we started using a small electric heater in the camper in cool weather. I'm thinking there is cabinet space below our TV / stereo area in our 2015 Bullet 243BHS that I could live without. I could run a cord up behind the television to the outlet in the cabinet above the TV. I see the hardest part being matching the Walnut-ish looking cabinet when trimming around it.

Anyone done anything similar?

Seen a detailed thread where one was added?

Thanks !!

Yes I have, unable to post pics but try this link to see what I did. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f65/what-...ml#post3235942
I still need to finish the trim work but I left the door on to close when not in use.

We put one in our 251RBS built a platform for it to sit on had to shave the sides of the entertainment center for it to fit,i used 90* metal brackets to secure it.not the best source of heat but it works. Installed it 2 years ago and have not had any issues with it.

Ours came factory installed, and I thought it was a ridiculous $$$ boost... till the first chilly night!

Now we turn it on just for "AMBIANCE" even with the heat turned off! Candles... wine... music use your imagination!
