Looking to purchase 1st Passport

Hello All,

Not new to RV`ing, been hauling around for 10 years now. I joined this site because the wife and I are looking into upgrading our RV. I`m looking at a 2013 Passport 32FB Ultra Lite Elite. They have a marked down price that is very attractive so they can move it off the lot before the `14`s come in. I`m curious if anybody else owns one and if so, have you come across any major problems. The rig we own now (`04 26` Dutchmen Sport) has been flawless for the past 10 years and I would like to purchase another rig with the same track record if possible. I`ve been reading a lot already on this forum and there seems to be a lot of leaking issues with the plumbing, stove vents venting inside the rig instead of outside. Another item I`m new to is the cable assist on the slide outs. I `ve never seen this before, is this something new or just the design of the Passports. Anybody have any issues with the exterior bubbling or delaminating? This style siding is new to me as well and I`ve heard and read some horror stories.
I`m sure I`ll have more questions, but I think this is a good start for now.

Well after more research and a lot of looking, we`ve decided to pull the trigger on a `13 Passport 32FB Ultra Lite Elite. We don`t have any kids and originally we started looking for floor plans without bunks. We have our Dutchman and it`s a bunk house and after looking at others without out the bunks we lose a lot of storage. So we are getting another bunkhouse. Besides, I go fishing with my buddies and I need space for them as well.
So we are to take delivery on Saturday at 9am. I`ve printed up the PDI list and told the sales manager I would like to go over my list as well as their list. Next week I have a fishing trip planned, so it will be me and 2 of my fishing buddies. This will be a good shake down trip to make sure all is working well and I will let the dealer know. That way if anything is amiss he knows I`ll be bringing it back.
So I`ll take pics and post when I get our new toy.

Howdy, don't know about your model of Passport , but we just bought a 2014 23 RB Passport, and so far all I can say is that this thing is awesome. Enjoy the new camper.

Sorry about the long delay to your question, it's a 30 amp.
