Walking on the roof

I have a 2017 Keystone Bullet , Ultra Light, 26ft. Can anyone tell me if it’s ok to go up on the roof. I have cleaned the roof in the past but have yet to go on it. I’m skeptical . I’m thinking maybe a ladder or such to spread the weight . I’m 190 lbs.

Bullet ultra lights do not have a walkable roof. Your roof decking is very thin. If you used something like a ladder or piece of plywood to spread the load, you’ll be fine. I’d be very careful with whatever you use to make sure you don’t damage the roof membrane. I would probably get a 4x8 piece of the pink foam insulation, break it in half to two 4x4 sheets. They’re light and you can easily move one and then the other if you want to move around the roof.

Call the manufacturer's customer service department to confirm.

I can tell you for fact it’s not walkable. I was selling Keystones at that time and did a factory tour in 2017.

This is correct. When I got up on mine to do maintenance and put on vent covers I used 2 pieces of plywood, it was obvious very quick that is was flimsy and would not support foot traffic
