Any way to trace TT history?
Just curious, I'm very happy with our rig after almost 3 years. We have always suspected it must have been a demo rig before being shipped to dealer in PA. Any way to trace with VIN, if it never was actually registered with any state?

What do you consider a "demo rig" and what makes you suspect that? If a vehicle has previously been titled then it would be a "used" vehichle. Most states require disclosure if a car was used as a demo but I'm not aware of demo trailers.

Just curious, but the initial statement: "I'm very happy with our rig after almost 3 years. We have always suspected it must have been a demo rig before being shipped to dealer in PA."
If there was a "suspicion" then why wait 3 years before persuing the answer?
I know that Keystone sets up several "test trailers" in a local campground and invites their employees to reserve them for their family to use. The "catch" is that the employee has to fill out a survey after the reservation is complete. That's one of the ways that Keystone gets "observations and recommendations" on their models. Those trailers, as far as I know, are wholesaled to local dealerships (as used/test/demo trailers) at auction after they are pulled back to the factory from the campground.
What is the objective information that caused/causes you to suspect the trailer was used prior to being shipped to the dealer versus the dealer using the trailer in RV shows as a model prior to you seeing it on the lot ???

I don't think the TT was ever used - used as in camped in or slept in. It came with every bell and whistle Keystone listed for that model and the compartments were stuffed with odds and ends. Water hoses, trailer ramps for tire changes, a 50 amp portable EMS unit, those plastic supports for a waste hose, etc. Yet the selling dealer was blissfully unaware of what was being included without being charged.
We suspected that maybe our TT was used at different RV shows by either Keystone or a dealer.
The heat and humidify here in Maine has me pondering these deep, deep thoughts while I shelter inside my air conditioned cave. So I was just curious about it's history.

Hmmmmm Interesting, to say the least !!!!!
Sounds like it may have been "destined to be a show model" and, for some reason, after all the goodies for the show were loaded, somehow the trailer got released to a shipping company and delivered to your dealer for "regular sale"...
Imagine the surprise when the "show crew" got to the arena and found that the trailer they got was missing "all those goodies" !!!!!
By then, it probably would have cost more to try to get all those extras back to Goshen than it would have cost to just "give one new owner a big surprise"...
Heat ??? We've been enjoying some 45-50F nights and 70-80F days this past week, but will be heading back to North Carolina in the next week or so. I'm definitely not looking forward to the temps and humidity there in late July/August !!!!!

Sounds intriguing for sure. Maybe it was loaded up for a sale and it fell thru, or John's theory, or maybe it's time pop a cold drink and watch a movie.

It's been "steamy" here in PA this week but only in the upper 90's. Cooler today, only 87° right now.

maybe a friend of someone that worked at the dealership was supposed to buy your particular trailer… “ Don’t worry Marv…i’ve got it covered ….i loaded up the trailer with all the goodies! …just make sure your here tomorrow to buy it.
i know at car dealers sometimes the manager or top salesman will borrow a truck for the evening or weekend …if the mileage isn’t that great it counts as test drives and not a demo…probably was just set up at a rv show locally and they forgot to remove the stuff

That's been our guess too.
90 degrees here in Maine is debilitating. Fall is my favorite season.

We are currently Moochdocking at our friend's place up in Cherryfield. We've been here since July 1st. The weather was great until about a week ago but, has started to cool back off again the last two days. On Aug 7th we are heading down your way for a few days staying at Bentley's.

Bentley's is just around the corner! The restaurant half is excellent. Can't say about the bar - don't drink. The CG gets excellent reviews.

Well, we do tend to be a little cooler than your area. Probably average 5 to 8 degrees difference.

Most dealers have what’s called a starter kit or basic camping kit that includes all the items you’re describing. Of course they charge extra for it since not every customer needs/wants it. Typically the people in the parts department are responsible to place those items in the trailer. I would suspect that someone in the parts department inadvertently put a starter kit in your rv even though it wasn’t on the work order to do so. Most RV shows don’t have hookups, so no reason to have all of that in there for a show. Besides, they can’t allow people to use the toilet in an rv at a show so definitely no reason to have sewer hose items in it.
