New use for WD-40

So I got some Dicor self leveling white on my dark blue pants on the back side (don’t ask, ‘cause I ain’t tellin!).

Anyway got home and decided my stuff needed to be washed. On a whim I tried WD-40 on a rag and it took just about every bit of Dicor out. I suppose it would have gotten it all if I stood there long enough and rubbed enough. Anyway, it worked for me YMMV.

Nice, thanks for sharing, good to know. Was the Dicor fully dry? Or was it still semi wet from the self application earlier that day?

WD-40 is a fantastic cleaner for a lot of things. It's breaks down oils very well. Another use I found is to remove road tar from my vehicles and the camper. Spray a little on the road tar. Let it sit for a few seconds. Watch the road tar start to run like water, and then simply wipe of off with a soft cloth. It doesn't hurt wax or paint.

It's good to remove bubble gum too, it works well on some tree sap, and if you have those gigantic yellow jacket bees that bore holes in your wood decking, spray those holes with WD-40 and those bees will disappear. Oh, they'll be mad for a few hours and keep flying around trying to get back into those holes, but they finally give up. Keep spraying ever couple days until the wood get saturated inside those holes, and the bees will disappear permanently.

And, it works fantastic cleaning and putting a quick shine on black solid shoes, and works as a water repellant on Tennis Shoes or Athletic Shoes.

Lots and lots of uses for WD-40 ... Check out YouTube videos. It's mind blowing!

It was cured. We use old awning fabric and topper fabric to sit and lay on when a creeper won’t work.

I use old cardboard boxes as it provides some cushioning.

It does but it goes into the recycle dumpster before we get a chance to grab it.

We live out in the country and recycling isn't a thing here. We have 9 dogs and some of the Chewy boxes are huge. I keep one in the passthrough and two behind the seat in my clunker tow vehicle. My home pad is road base and you just can't sit on it directly as it hurts.

You might take a look at Harbor Freight at the 1/2" foam interlocking mats. I took two of them, fitted together and then used duct tape to keep them from separating. It makes a "nice, cushion to lay on" and the price isn't too bad. They come 4 to a set, so two "taped together mats" for $10. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piec...set-94635.html

Iave that in front of my tool box. Awning and topper frantic is our preferred material since it’s somewhat slick you can slide (move) easily.
