hot water heater

no hot water on my 2006 28 rl Laredo. neither electric or gas? fixes? thank you Ronson

ronson, Howdy;

Have you checked the 'Winterization' (supply shut-off), valve
in case a gremlin turned it off ?

Can you hear the propane side ignite and remain burning?

Any other clues you may be able to provide to help you troubleshoot?

hot water fixed. number one fuse at top of converter was blown and I didn't see it. changed fuse and hot water started working. label on fuse panel for hot water heater was marked as number 9. battery is not charging, still checking that out. any suggestions? thanks Ronson

Have you or anyone else had the battery disconnected? If the battery cables are reversed, even for a mili-second, the reverse polarity fuses for the converter are toast. The fuses are 40 amp and are located either on the converter or on your power panel. Black is pos - white is neg.

If you already found one of the fuses blown on the converter may also want to check the inline fuse electrically between the converter and battery(s). The physical location of this fuse is in your battery compartment. Also make sure your battery(s) are not disconnected (Battery disconnect switch).

Sorry for the late response. Glad your water heater is working, but for the record here is a pic of the hi temp limit switch in our Montana.
