Modified TV shelf

Our Passport came with a second TV hook-up in the bedroom area.
It consists of a shelf mounted on the closet wall and the street side wall with the appropriate outlets in the ceiling.
This shelf offers very little height and our second TV was too tall so I got creative.
I had a hanging bracket manufactured by the Trailmanor Factory (our previous trailer) and it was designec to hang over a kitchen shelf edge.
I drilled two 1/4 inch holes in it, made a cardboard template and transfered that to the bottom of the TV shelf.
The smiley face is because of the markings and the extra 1 1/2 recessed hole is to accomodate the very top of the bracket to allow it to fit tight to the shelf.
I drilled an 1 1/2 hole in the back corner for the cords to go through.
This is very secure without strain on the shelf.
Going past the TV is no different cause I had to allow for the shelf anyway.
I will not travel with the TV mounted, it is secure but I know things bounce around so no need to push my luck.
Two fender washers and two wing nuts allow for mounting in a couple of minutes.

Very creative indeed, Traveler...

I appreciate when folks share their ideas & mods, and I'm sure the other members do too. Thank you!
