Water pump on Cougar 30RKS
New member with a new trailer.
Unfortunately, it's winterizing time.
I have a Cougar 30RKS and can't get at the water pump. It's beside the bed but I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the panel. I don't see any screws sticking up through the carpet.
Seems I should be able to take the panel off to get access.
Any help is appreciated.

From looking at your floor-plan I would think that your water-pump is under your fridge. Access panel should have two square head screws. What makes you think it is next to bed? Welcome to the forum, Hank

That's what I was told when I bought it.
Think the guy at the dealer may not know where it was?
It made sense since the water fill is right there. Why do you think it would be under the fridge? There is no need for water in that corner.
Yeah. I'm going out to run it and listen for it. Unfortunately, where I have it parked is a bit of a pain to get into so I've got to move it to get in and out.
Might have to be tomorrow.

And I'm back.
It is beside the bed where I was told it was. Can feel it vibrating there.
So, anyone have any idea how to get the cover off? I may choose to cut a access hole from the pass through, but I want to see what's under there befor I start hacking at things.
Thanks

Is this the floor-plan for your trailer????
water and electric are normally closer to rear of trailer.

That is the floor-plan.
Fresh water tank is at the front. The pump is in a compartment on the floor right where it shows "folding tv shelf" in the bedroom. That side of the bed has the extra compartment not on the other side (where the laundry chute is). The water fill is right there as well. I can hear and feel the pump there. What I can't find is the head of any screws in the carpet.
The hot water tank is at the back under the stove. There doesn't seem to be anything under the fridge.
I'm not keen on just blowing it out. I've always used anti-freeze and have never had an issue.
Oh. And the main electrical is in the hall cabinet.

Well. That is done. Used a magnet to find the screws.
My mistake was looking for a screw in each corner. There were only two, one at the front and one at the back.
Hot water tank is a bit of a pain to find the valve. Have to go by feel as you can't see it. But three jugs of antifreeze and it's done.
There is an awful lot of unused space in the kitchen behind these panels. Took all of them off just to look. Under the fridge is a huge amount of empty space used only by a gas line to the fridge and the power cord. Under the stove is a big open space. Under the drawers is a big open space. Good thing it has enough storage already.
