Level question: slides & fridge?

2022 429 Raptor:
If you pull up to a campsite for a night, do you have to unhitch if you are fairly level for the slides to operate properly? I know it's good practice to unhitch/level. Just wondering how forgiving they are?

Part two of this question: I get mixed responses regarding running a fridge on propane. They say to only run it when level, but then people run it on propane while driving, where the grade changes, so???

RV fridges need to be within 3 degrees of level front to back and side to side when sitting.

As you drive, the ammonia powder is “sloshed” around and can’t settle in a low spot. So if you park and your fairly level, you can extend the slides and operate the fridge on either AC or propane.

Thanks! The "sloshed" part makes sense!
