‘20 240bh AC failure
Me, my wife and our 6 month old just tried to go camping and when I plugged into the 30 amp outlet and turned the thermostat to cool, 70 degrees like usual I heard what sounded like the compressor kick in but no fan and no cooling. I tried switching the thermostat to furnace and my furnace kicked in. All my fuses and breakers are ok. Of course general RV said I’m 2 months passed my warranty so we’re SOL. Anything I can try before I have to climb on the roof and take it apart?

it will help if you mention the make/model of your A/C and thermostat. Is the thermostat controlled on the wall or via a remote (in command)?

I know the thermostat and AC are both Dometic. AC is a 13,500 btu and the thermostat is controlled on the wall (no remote)

To eliminate the possibility of the power pedestal killing your electrical appliances, I suggest and Electrical Management System. This is a gizmo that detects issues with the power and will shut down power to your camper BEFORE things are damaged. I use this one and it has save me a couple times. It is NOT a surge protector alone.
Chances are the problem is not on the roof. There are technical folks on this forum that will jump in and tell you what to check after removing the lower housing (inside) from yor A/C and perhaps the thermostat. I know you checked the breakers but did you completely switch OFF the A/C 20A breaker and click it back on. Just looking will not necessarily show a breaker that is tripped.

Does the other 120 vac appliances work? Does the microwave work (clock on, light inside work)? Did the a/c unit work previously? If you could post a picture of your thermostat it would help.,

If the compressor runs but not the fan, then you need to look at the capacitors and/or motor.
