Recommended trip planners

Hi all...Recently retired and wanting to do more rv traveling. Have started the planning stage and was wondering if anyone has experience with the RV Life app, good or bad. Anyone find something they like better?

I like the app myself. I'll use it to plan trips then compare it to my Garmin RV GPS. The routes are typically the same but I like using the computer to plan with. Then I send the trip to my Garmin, best of both worlds IMO.

I planned my first eight night, 1500+ mile trip, traveling through six states using the RV Trip Wizard software. The radius function helped point me to where I needed look for rest stops, gas stops, and overnight stops. I know you often have to check and adjust, but for the most part I was able to follow as I had it planned. I would give it a thumbs up as a RV trip planning tool.

Really like RV Parky for finding campgrounds/RV parks. We also use google maps to help.

I use the RVLife Campground search website and RV Parky (both the app and website) have had good luck with both.

I've also used the RVLife app and feel that it's a pretty good tool, though not necessarily intuitive to use. I've had issues accessing planned trips on my phone.
My first use was "planning" a trip from my home to Goshen, IN - a trip I have made many, many times. The planner wanted me to go a route that I know from experience is not the best when pulling a camper and I had the devil's own time getting it to use my preferred route. Also, planning fuel stops was a real problem. Once you do get everything planned out and you're actually driving down the road, the mobile app part doesn't allow for changes on the fly - at least I couldn't get it to make changes such as shifting fuel stops.
I like Park Advisor as well as C-RV Military and Google Earth for planning as well as on the road use.

We use the RVLife tool. I really like that you can set all your parameters and then plot your trip accordingly. We are in the middle of a multi-week trip and so far it is doing excellent!

When planning, we use the Advanced radius setting instead of the Classic radius. Classic is basically a circle on the map and Advanced is more dynamic and considers roads and speed limits in its calculation.
