US 93 south Twin Falls Id to Las Vegas Nv

Have any members been on US 93 south from Twin Falls Idaho to I-15 north of Las Vegas Nv lately and how's the road? And asking for my awesome bride, are there good campgrounds and places to get food and Diesel fuel. We would like to avoid I-15 in Utah at Salt Lake [the Holy Roller 500]. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Several places to fuel in Wells (US 93 & I-80). We have stayed at the Ely KOA (south of Wells) several times. Windy at times and the CG is all gravel (desert). The folks there are nice. There's a new truck stop right up the road from the park.

We usually head west on 6 from there so can't speak to current conditions on 93 south of Ely. Don't know when you are going - it's a HOT drive in summer.

93 is a well traveled 2 lane Hwy. Several places to overnight or stop for fuel including Wells, Ely, Pioche and Caliente depending on how far you feel like driving between stops.
Don't know how large your rig is, but 93 is used by large tractor trailer rigs with no restrictions that I know of.
Love the "Holy Roller 500" description for I 15 in our area. I'm going to use that for sure

Just did it 2 days ago. Wonderful wide smooth road. Fill up at Wells as no fuel stations again till Ely. Top off in Ely as fuel is limited till you reach the interstate. Saved 2 plus hours over going by interstate through SLC. Speed limit on 93 in Nevada is 70 mph.

Nice! Thanks for the great info. We are planning to head that way about the middle of March to Bullhead City Az. (need to get out of winter for a while, not quite snow birds yet, but practising) As for two lanes I will take that over SLC Holy Roller 500 any day.
