Both are listed (by Keystone) in their mid-price range, so the standard features &
options are probably very similar. Standards/options are listed on the website if
you don't have the printed brochures to compare side by side. "Best"?... is really
more of a personal choice based on what features & floorplan best suits YOUR family.

All that said, are you aware that the Cougar has a 925 lbs dry hitch/tongue weight??...
that's even more than the Sprinter you asked about in your first post. The Premier is
lighter-weight, but also has a hefty dry hitch/tongue weight.

Have you considered the Passport 3220BH?? The floorplan is very similar to the others,
and the weights may be a better match.

Passport 3220BH
(Dry) Shipping Weight 6,109
Carrying Capacity 1,391
(Dry) Hitch 600
Length 35' 5"
(GVWR) 7,500

Premier 31BHPR

(GVWR) 8,000

Cougar 31SQB
(Dry) Shipping Weight 7,169
Carrying Capacity 1,831
(Dry) Hitch 925
Length 35' 11"
(GVWR) 9,000

Sprinter 311BHS

(Dry) Hitch 835
Length 35' 4"
(GVWR) 10,995

Bad Axle

If Lippert made the Axle their was a bad batch of em. I know because both of my Axles were replaced in my old travel trailer made by Heartland. The problem is if one axle was bad then it puts to much strain on the "good" axle therefore degrading both of the axles. The proper fix would have been to replace both axles at the same time when the issue initially occured. This was a part issue not a design problem.
