Our first new travel trailer

It sounds like your 1st RV? if so set it up in driveway and make sure you know how to use everything. Maybe stay in it in driveway or somewhere close for the first night again to make sure your learning how and what to do to make use of the RV. So if problems come up, it's not on the vacation miles from any help. Those vent covers do work real good. We had the first set on a 40ft park trailer at the Wa coast. We found that highest winds 90mph, raining in 30 mph winds common. We left vents open year round and never had water inside since 01. We sold the property in 08, have a house next door, the covers are still on it. Now on 2nd RV with vent covers, open all winter. I close them when traveling to keep road dust etc out.
