Good evening,

New member, new to TT as well. September 2020 was the first travel trailer 2015 summerland mini 18 foot camper. Enjoyed it so much just upgraded to the 2021 keystone Springdale 280bh.

Tow- 2018 Ford F150 4x4 eco boost V6

Thanks fellow new jersey member. I notice there is a lot of information and questions as well. Just hoping I do not need to up grade my truck due to trailer size lol.

If you are truly interested in determining if you are legal, post your truck payload sticker, trailer ID sticker, and hitch information. That's a 9600 pound high profile sale behind your F150 "tow vehicle". Have you been across a scale yet? If so, post that data as well.

tex74? AIn't Toms River in NJ? Are you a native Texan who has been banished from God's country (Texas)? Anyway, your F150 likely ain't up to the task so read through the threads on 1/2 ton tow vehicles as all info has been said before. Good luck! And Lewis, the Springdale being drug behind the 1/2 ton is a SAIL unless he has a FOR SALE sign on it already bwhahahaha (sorry, can't help myself!).
