Welcome to the forum. Keystone produced the Bobcat trailer from 1999 through about 2003. At that time, the name was retired and Keystone hasn't produced that brand in some time now. Apparently Skyline, a different manufacturer of RV's, revived the name this year and 2012 is the first year of the "new" Bobcat travel trailer.
I'm sure there are a few of our members who have some experience with the Bobcat made by Keystone. Hopefully, you'll get answers to your questions. Remember, most RV's are produced with similar construction techniques, appliances, plumbing and electrical and mechanical systems, so even though you're looking at a specific name brand RV, it will be very similar to most other RV's of that era.
