Docking light stays on 2017 Cougar 29RES

The docking light turned on this week as we were returning home. The switch does not work, using the battery shut off does not work either.
Has anyone experienced this? How did you correct it.

Do you have a remote for this unit? If so try turning it off with that. If that doesn’t help I am not sure besides disconnecting the battery at the post to make it go off. I believe that should reset the controller also as long as the switch is in the off position.

That worked like a charm! Never considered the remote. Will do so from now on.

The remote control panel over rides the rocker switch. If you activate something using the remote, you have to turn it off using the remote. Now that you have turned off the light using the remote, you will find that the rocker switch will work again.
