Foam Guns or Foam Cannons......

I wasn't quite sure where to start this thread, so I'm putting it here......Mods, please move to a different location if needed!

So, I'm not sure when they came out, but I just recently learned of "Foam Cannons" and was wondering if anyone here has one or has used one specifically on their camping trailers? The concept seems pretty solid, but having never been around anyone that has one, I'm looking to find out a bit about them from an actual user.

1. How effective are they at cleaning/dirt/grime removal on your trailer/fifth wheel campers?
2. How much does it speed up your trailer cleanup time?
3. Do you still have to use some sort of microfiber "mophead" to really clean?
4. Quite a price spread out there on them....any particular brand/model/style that has impressed you?

They make two different types...one that goes on the end of your water hose, and the type that attaches to the end of a power washer. I do have a power washer, so that would most likely be the type that I would be interested in.

Thanks in advance.

I use one.

They're okay. It's akin to going through the manual car wash, using the high-pressure soap option, spraying a bunch of soap on your rig, then rinsing it off. Better than water alone, but definitely not as good as a brush scrub. I spray my trailers (trucks, cars, house, etc.) down with it all the time.

Not sure if this video link from FB will work or not:

I've used one for years. Functionality is great. With a proper setting on the gun it coats the vehicle with copious layers of soap - will look like a snow storm hit your vehicle.

My son has one for his pressure washer.

He wets down the car, coats the whole thing with a layer of foam and then washes as normal. I guess the thinking is the foam will loosen the grime and make it easier to wash off.

He has been using it for a few years and likes the results.

I have not tried it, but am thinking of using it on the trailer (since he leaves all of it at my house).

I'll report back if I do.

Hmm...based on the title of the post, I was thinking someone found a fun new toy for the kids at the campground. Maybe?

I have a potato gun/canon, it is much fun, but there are limited campgrounds that would find it acceptable

It is a party favorite here at the house and we used to take it camping when we would go to the Big Bend area of TX and a friends ranch in OK.

It will launch a spud 2 - 300 yards

into dirty water. Cleans the cars and truck and camper great. Here is what I bought, There are a lot of choices of soap.
