Maintenance question

This is my front landing gear. They look like they need some attention. What do I need to do to keep them in good shape?

Looks like grease on there now. Grease attracts dirt. Dirt is abrasive. I'd suggest cleaning them real good. Soap or degreaser. Then lube with a Dry Lube product to minimize any future dirt on the legs. It's one of my annual prep things each spring.

Agree with Canonman except that we do ours monthly when we are home due to the salty environment here next to the ocean. When we are on the road we clean them every two weeks or so and especially before leaving a dusty campground.
