Ice maker not dumping ice

Our Samsung ice maker is making ice but not dumping it into the bin. Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Welcome to the forum!!

Does the ice tray have a “test” button on the bottom? Depending on model, does yours have an “ice off” button at the top behind the left hand door?

Just thinking out loud.

Ice Maker Not dumping ice

Thank you Chuckster57 for your reply. Yes, we have tried the test button several times without results. The ice off button is not lit. The ice is in the tray but it is not dumping into the bin. Could there be anything else going on with it?

Sound like a service call is in order.

First, I don't know much about the RV ice makers and don't have one myself. But don't they employ a heating element to melt the ice so it will fall out of the forms? Is it possible that heating element has it's own fuse which may be blown?

If the OP’s refer is like the one I have in the Solitude I’m working on, the tray is plastic and turns over so gravity makes them fall out.
