Clear to partly cloudy with no rain until mid week next week. We're planning on a quick trip back to Brevort Lake to try to finish the trip that was rained out a couple weeks ago.

And YES, we'll have coats, lots of firewood and "long jammies" since it's a dry camping campground.....
Getting ready to get the big bonfire going for some heat LOL

I'm sorta glad I have actually a connection up here sporadic but we do have one here in there so if I didn't comment on your post it's probably cuz it's somewhere out in cyberspace floating around in the UP

Good Lord.....those temperatures are Nov/Dec here in E. TN. I lived in IL most of my life until I moved down south in 2006, and there is NO WAY I could go back to any of that "Frozen Wasteland!"

We "bit the bullet" packed the Cougar this morning, left around 3 or so for "Da UP" and arrived at Brevort Lake around 630. (Had to stop at Letho's for pasties) Great weather, right now it's around 50, the campfire is going strong but we "sneaked inside" to warm up a little and to catch the news. Heading to bed in a few, early morning to see if some of those elusive bass are going to cooperate. It's quiet except for a couple of generators about 7 or 8 campsites away. Thankfully they are inverters so nothing excessive.

Great weather up here, I'm certain that tomorrow will be another "no sweat day" LOL
