Why did Keystone put cranking batteries in my travel trailer?

I just opened the battery boxes on my new Passport, and I see the batteries are the cheap Deka Marine/RV cranking batteries.
I'm sure the dealer knows more than I do about batteries, so why would they do that? Cranking batteries aren't made for this application. These batteries should have been deep cycle.
