Upgrade to Disc Brakes?

Can I upgrade my 2024 Cougar 25MLE to disc brakes without losing my ABS?

The information in the link says the ABS system works with "electromagnetic drum brakes" which disc brakes are not. I wouldn't trade my disc brakes for the ABS simply due to the huge increase in stopping power that the disc brakes provide. I would contact Lippert and see what they say. If the ABS is providing electrical inputs to activate the brakes when it senses the need I would think that those could be modified to activate the electric/hydraulic discs - maybe.

You may want to talk to Performance Trailer Braking in Norman Oklahoma. They did my conversion from drums to discs. Good people.
