looking to replace/upgrade my storage locks

I have 3 locks, 2 on the passthru compartment, and 1 on the external shower
I'd like to have all 3 keys match

2 are 'decent' and one is failing - I'd like to replace them with barrel keyed cylinders and the passthru compartment also has Compartment Door Thumb Latches

aesthetically I think I want to change them to black, there's not much chrome on our camper so I think the black anodized would look better IMHO

shopping around, I see a ton of sizes, how do I measure or get the right size replacement?

I found this 3 pack, but I don't think the arm is the right setup, maybe just re-use the locking arm on the inside?

3 Pack RV Storage Locks, 5/8" Cabinet Locks with Keys, RV Cam Lock Keyed Alike RV Locks for Storage Door, Zinc Alloy

Looking at your current "locking tabs", I'd order the 1 1/8" barrel length. Your doors are thicker than 5/8". You can use your current tabs (which are bent) to make up any difference, simply by bending them slightly (at the existing bend).

I think you'll find the short barrel locks will be too short to fit through your doors, bolt in place and still have enough space for the locking tabs to rotate onto the friction plates mounted behind the doors.

For the locksets we used, the screw on the back allowed us to reuse the original arm if we wanted to. The sets you are looking at have a nut instead of a screw, so who knows if you can reuse or not. You will need to look at the diagrams Amazon to see if yours will fit.

The external shower lock requires a different cylinder with clips to hold it in. We bought ours from ‘RV locks and more’, but I didn’t see any black anodized.

Why bother with the lock on the shower door? I replaced all mine with the ones posted above but have not done the shower door. I've yet to have someone come along and take a random shower from my trailer

I replaced the compartment locks when we had our Passport, but did not bother with the exterior shower or KeyTV box.

Our new Cougar uses a different key system for the compartment locks, but still has the CH751 for the exterior shower and gravity water fill door locks. I doubt I will bother with those anyway for the same reason as Peto.

Anyway, I had bought the locks for the Passport from CH751.com because I liked all the options, choices and they were very helpful. I went with the tubular style locks/keys.

I have gone to Home Depot and had all the locks be keyed alike. I replaced all my CH751 locks.

Go to ch751.com. They can set you up with whatever you need. They have standard keyed locks, tubular key locks and allone locks.

I just installed a new allone lock on the outdoor kitchen of our new imagine 2670MK with a key that matches the factory passthrough storage locks. One less key on the ring and nobody can walk off with our griddle or beer fridge.

I've used them twice and have been very happy with the prices and quality of the locks.

Got this set for my 202QBWE:

LATCH.IT 7/8 RV Storage Locks |...

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MFPYP81...p_mob_ap_share

Worked great, even for the exterior shower door, although TBF it is slightly loose. I'll need to bend the catch slightly to firm it up.

I got the 7/8' size. Worked a treat.

I went here and replaced both entry door and both pass through storage door with these: https://www.rvlock.com/collections/thumb-cam-latches

All keyed alike, only problem is that the barrel of the lock was too long for my shower.

It was a few years ago, but I was able to get everything I needed to do all the door and compartment locks for our toyhauler from this place:

https://www.rvlocksandmore.com/

I replaced all of the generic "751" locks on the compartments, and added locks to a couple of compartments that didn't have locks (I didn't do the propane compartment). For the door locks, our doors already used the "global" brand locks that they sell (the numbered, purple keys) and I was able to obtain one of their special yellow "change" keys that allows you to remove and replace just the barrel, so I didn't have to replace the entire door lock.

All doors and compartments now use the same key and I have several spares. Don't remember how much, but the project was pretty inexpensive.
