Last 'o the season....

Is in the books.

First off let me start by saying if you have never been to the Washington coast, this spot is one of the best, hands down.
We stayed in the state campground at Grayland Washington, for 5 days, and oh my, what a great park.
This place has great beaches you can drive out on, and boy howdy, were folks doing just that...it was open clamming for razor clams on the PM tides, the beach was packed with clammers and their 4 wheel drives, and they were getting limits!

The seafood here is everywhere, and the crowds were gone. We had restaurants almost all to ourselves....
Lots of sun between rain showers, and our spot I picked where we had fewer trees....big long paved pack ins, some pull thrus, and some tents and yurts.

The area we hung out in ranged from Westport to Tokeland, which has a Indian casino if you are feeling lucky. Lots of fishing as well....

Truck ran perfect, trailer and new tires sweet, and watching my new tire/temp monitor was way cool....

I will just post some pictures, enjoy, and yes, I recommend it bigly...with a trip to the Westport Winery too, it has tasting of wine and spirits made by the owner, my wife joined the wine and splash club ( spirits...lavender gin ) and the restaurant there is a must, as is the one in the old Tokeland Hotel ( its where me wife is drinking picture )

I will just share pictures and let them talk

Nice photos. Coming from the east I've only had a camper on the Washington coast once. It was summer time and I went from Cape Disappointment right to the Olympic Peninsula and skipped the beaches in between. Maybe next time.

I've heard Neah Bay is a great place to watch winter storms. Any hardy campers done that in Nov or later? Seems like that might be better as a hotel trip.

You live in the PNW and this was “The Last of The Season” sorry camping season in the PNW Wet side is year round.
Before we full timed we kept the 5er stocked with cloths and staple foods, well sealed, we could be on the road in less than a couple hours.
If temps were going below freezing, we would blow the water lines, never used antifreeze in water lines and never an issue.
