From what I’ve been told most of the site team are actually members of the expedition yacht trawler forum…don’t even own a rv…they spend the winter anchored off of Saint Thomas and watch the sun go down every evening sipping margaritas.. they take turns throwing words around like “dicor” and “butyl tape”…. Occasionally explain how to properly pack wheel bearings and different aspects of towing dynamics…apparently big money in the advertising side of this whole “forum hustle” ..they do pretty well from what I hear .

Sourdough is the only one on stateside duty for this fiscal year but they gave him a new Montana High country to play around with until he heads back out to sea
Yeah it’s a pretty nice gig

I can neither confirm nor deny these wild accusations.

Chuck, if you see the Cabana Boy down on your end of the beach send him my way. Thanks!

Site team has been somewhat quiet for a while now…I imagine an all black tiffin motorhome is barreling down a highway towards wired George’s little part of Texas …waiting to wisk him away for some “rehabilitation” …we will find out he suddenly “took ill” and won’t be around for a while …some secrets should remain just that…

Oh and me? I’ll be ok…have the boat idling at my pier ..if I hear the sound of a wdh clanking down the road …I’m gone

Fifth wheels are quite but if yo think you hear thunder and see black smoke around the bend, time for a boat ride.

Aren't you close to Martin State Airport? Don’t think that boat can outrun an aircraft. Just saying...

No WDH on a fiver, but you can’t mask an old Navistar 7.3 IDI. I will give you fair warning of my approach…3 short blasts with the train horns.

Yeah it’s a pretty nice gig

I was gone when this thread started and ended so didn't pick up on it - thanks Janet for reviving it so I caught it.

I can't believe George found that old photo of the team that was taken without permission by an unknown individual at the "secret meeting place" - I thought those were all destroyed. At least he/she didn't photograph the "secret handshake"......

And yes, I am the one relegated to stateside duty for THIS fiscal period Jasin. How, or when, my relationship with "the team" became known then shared (Jasin) I will never know. Also, in full disclosure, I did get a new Montana High Country to "play around in" until I head back to sea....on Nov. 1. And oh yes, it's a nice gig!!

I heard our handler is in negotiations with Keystone for a new test bed Montana, 46' long with the upgrade solar system AND a new F450 to tow it. Haven't got confirmation yet, but it's supposed to be delivered to the "lucky next stateside observer" in late October, just in time for whoever that is to get it packed and headed on their first undercover adventure....

Danny, as you near the end of your assignment, no doubt you're ready to start chasing down sailboats again..... We're all looking forward to your "tall tales from yonder" at the next midnight gathering... I'll bring the prune margaritas (they're Hank's favorite) ...

Rumor has it Hank is the only site team member without an RV.... Since he just recently completed his tour, chances are he won't be the "lucky recipient" but I know I'm not in the running, "they" just invested in an axle upgrade for my rig and my truck barely has 60K miles on it. That leaves Marshall and you, unless Keystone pulls out of the negotiations (assuming my contact information is correct)..... Did you want a red F450? There's two members with red ones already.... Just sayin' <G>
