Anyone using this app? Neighbor just told me about it, you have to give the app, your credit card or bank routing number? What stations are in on this, major brands or just small “off the beaten path “ ?

Seems like the purpose of this app would have to be known in order to give my financials. What is the benefit?

Apparently, like the old school fuel cards truckers use, it’s a discount fueling app.

I don't have a "gas app" to use this way, but I did have another type discount card that "needed my credit card information" before they would process the membership application. I bought a "VISA gift credit card" and put $200 on it and used the "credit card number" for that card on the application. As we used the balance, I'd stop by WalMart and add another "lump sum" of money to the card. That worked for us (I didn't have to release any private information) and the discount was happy to do it since they had a
name credit card....

If you do this, make sure that the VISA gift card you get is a "multiple load card" not a "one time use card"... Cost to reload is (or was) $4.95 per transaction.

After further review, I’ve come to find out “diesel “ only and they are mostly associated with small operators that aren’t major brands. Gas buddy works, just curious if others knew of this app? Thanks for the responses.
