Flex Tape

Anyone have experience using "Flex Tape" against the exterior of their trailer/decal?

Used this very adhesive tape to seal a sheet of plastic over a window that was leaking during heavy rainstorms. Window will have to be replaced.

Now concerned the strong adhesive may remove paint/portion of decal when the tape is removed.

Thanks.....

Maybe try some heat. Try a hair dryer, BUT be careful to not to get the heat on the decals. Go slow working a small area. I have done this when I took the badges off a truck and Harley. Easy. Or call flex tape support 1-800-313-8772

I purchased a roll of 4" Flex Tape and it adheres very well. I do not know about removing from Decals but my guess would be next to impossible to remove without damaging Decals.

Anyone have a solution for removing the backing from tape?

Most tape glue or other adhesives will come off with WD-40. Not sure about the flex tape stuff

Thanks for all replies.

We won't be home for another week or two and will remove the tape securing the plastic. I'll report our results once we complete the removal.
