"More than likely, something in the house is on the same line, and then there's too much amperage occurring and the GFCI plug is doing exactly what it's suppose to do ... it pops before the breaker in the breaker box does."

The GFI outlet should only trip if there's an imbalance between the load and neutral lines. It is NOT an overload device, that's the job of the breaker.

So are you now saying it is a breaker in your camper that is tripping, not the one is your house?

The house breaker that has the GFI on it tripped….trailer is fine. The interesting part is it took 20 to 30 seconds to trip… the GFI was not tripped… it seems to me that it is just barely over amperage.

That is normal for an overloaded breaker to take a few seconds to heat up and trip. It sounds like your circuit is a bit overloaded or the breaker is weak. Remember you likely have things on that circuit than just your camper.
