Replacing my anode, which threads?

It's that time again... time to winterize and time to try to remember which freaking anode I buy to replace the rotten one in my water heater. I know it's magnesium, but it's the threads I forget.



Seems there are two common sizes of anodes to buy. Which one fits the water heater in a Keystone Cougar 26RBS? I am "Amazon Ready!"

Its not trailer specific, it is specific to the water heater. If you go to the "UserCP" at the topnof the page and liet the make, model, and year of your trailer and tow vehichle you will get more specific context in answers to your questions. More than likely your water heater ix a Suburban 6 or 20 gal tank. Typical anode is 3/4" NPT and requires a 1 1/16" socket to remove.

With that saidm rekove the vent cover outside and jot down the make and model number and use that in uour search query.
