Doors and power awning

I was responding to a post and figured I would share my mishap as a note for others...

We were lake-side camping and it was breezy - bathroom door was blown against awning bar...unbeknownst to me. After wind caught awning a couple times, I rolled it up.

Awning stopped short like it "died". I was perplexed and ran it out and back and it did it again. Took a bit before I realized the arm was catching on the door.

Fortunately only a small gouge in door frame. For those who have doors that open about 90-degrees into awning bar, keep an eye out!
