Happy Camping -

I inherited a 2001 Sprinter 350BHS.
They left the slideouts open all winter long and put too much weight on the slideout. it caved in the roof of the slideout. not bad enough that it fell apart but it leaks. I plan on rebuilding the header that supports the slideout. any suggestions? (I have already opened the ceiling up from the inside and there is very minimal damage to roof but a couple "trusses" need replaced along with the ceiling.)(Header needs replaced as well.)
They also left a little liquid in the black water tank and it cracked. They threw the tank away so now I am looking for a new tank. Any suggestions on where to buy or look online for the right size?
I knew about all these issues before and I got this camper for free.

Any websites would be great. I found a few things on ebay that I already ordered.
Black water tank, roofing material/patching, replacement cushions for the dinner table, all this is something I will need to purchase if anyone has good websites for it.

Thanks,
grbabbitt

Welcome to the forum ---- you might want to take a look at these two sites that deal in rv supplies:

www.rvsurplus.net

www.factoryrvsurplus.com

Good luck in your search for supplies and with your repairs.

Welcome grbabbitt.

Many of the Keystone archives are incomplete for the older models, but the tank sizes for your 5th wheel are listed as:
Fresh Water 45 gal
Waste Water 32 gal
Gray Water 48 gal
http://www.keystone-sprinter.com/ind...WBHS&year=2001

There are several businesses (especially in Indiana) who sell new RV overstock/surplus items. Search [Google] for 'RV Salvage' or
'RV Surplus'. One other suggestion - check Craigslist ads in your surrounding area... sometimes folks list trailer 'parts' for sale.
Here's a few more sites to get you started.

tweetys.com has some super sales. That is where I bought roofing material from cheaper then I could anywhere else.

grbabbitt, Howdy;

Can't help with the roof re-build, however this link will
help with the tank problem.

http://www.incaplastics.com/index.html

You may try contacting Keystone to see which tank they put in the trailer when they built it. Try asking for a 'build sheet' for your trailer.
