Aussie Grill

We have a Sprinter 266rbs with the grill mount attachment and an aussie grill. The grill is great for burgers and steaks, but charred the chicken even on the lowest setting. Does anyone have this same problem or have a solution to the problem? We are thinking of getting a different grill, but don't know what to consider. We would like to be able to use the existing grill mount that is supplied with the trailer, using the gas supply provided. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Thumbs up Yes

Here's my thoughts. Get yourself a good charcoal grill and problems solved. I built me a collapsable charcoal grill over 20 years ago and am still using it today. It was so popular I use to sell them to motorcyclists at our IBMC campouts because it folded down into a cake pan for storage. It doesn't burn the top of the picnic table either and in a pinch it can double as a small firepit. We've had as many a 6 guys sitting around it on a cold night. It will char your food if you don't watch it but hey, the food doesn't cook itself, you do!

I havent had the problems that u have with the same set up. but i know that the quick connect has a valve and i wonder if you could lower the flow of gas to the grill by partially closing the valve. again i habennt tried it but its just a suggestion.
