Bathroom heat

So my ‘19 keystone Springdale doesn’t have a heat vent in the bathroom, has the same heating vent/ducting as this. (Bathroomis the red circled area)

Has anyone added a vent, doesn’t appear to be a relatively easy task without tearing it down quite a bit.

Any other bathroom heat ideas for early/late season camping? We boon dock mostly in temps that can be down in -5C would like to keep the bathroom a little warmer.

And yes, usually leave the bathroom door open to allow heat in there. But wouldn’t mind being able to close the door for more room

You could just cut a transfer grill in the wall or door

Not sure if you have the room but could also do something like this tjernlund transfer fan

I believe that transfer fan is a 120 VAC (shore power) fan ??? OP is looking for options to warm the bathroom while "boondock camping" without shore power.

Although the concept may actually work. He could cut a "computer fan sized hole" from under the bunks (which have main cabin heat) and vent that heat into the bathroom using a 12 VDC computer fan. If it's switched, he could control how much battery power he uses or saves by deciding whether to heat the bathroom.

Conversely, another solution would be to pull the coroplast belly, connect a duct to the main floor duct system and hope there's enough air movement to push some of what's being "stolen from other vents" to heat the bathroom.....

I had planned to originally install a dedicated flexible heat vent. But it appears to be not as accessible even removing the underbelly to do so.

It's "accessible" but, as you're discovering, the level of difficulty is increased significantly by the location of both a black tank and a gray tank as well as the leveling jack system and other "user convenience items"....

The issue (or the end success/failure), no matter how hard you work to access the vent ducting, route a new flexible duct to the bathroom and cut holes in the floor or wall to install vents, there's still no "guarantee" that there will be enough air volume to actually "blow warm air" through your "hard to get to" existing ductwork....

2nd the Buddy heater, they work like a top. Main thing is if used for a long time period to make sure you have fresh air venting. We keep one (Buddy heater) in our closet for emergency's like power out situations and to lazy to get the generator going in early morning situations to charge the batteries. You can also charge a 1 lb bottle with adapter from your larger 20 or 30 pounders. Works for me.
