City water noise

I have a 2015 Passport Grand Touring 2510RB and am experiencing a whistling sound when running cold water or flushing toilet. No sounds when using hot water line. There is no leakage anywhere in the system. The sound is coming from the area of the city water inlet and water pump compartment. Not really irritating at this point, but quiet is always better. I am using a good pressure regulator. Any ideas?

What regulator are you using?

Sounds like the one way "stopper valve" in the city water inlet is probably vibrating. It might help to "GENTLY" push on the valve stem that you see when you disconnect the city water hose from the trailer fitting. Use your finger, push it in GENTLY, then center it as you withdraw your finger GENTLY ....

Did I mention, GENTLY !!!!!

I agree with John, there is a one-way valve on the city water inlet that will vibrate at times. Sometimes it happens when inlet water pressure is too high, so maybe consider adjusting your water regulator down (you are using a water pressure regulator right?)
