Installing Washer & Dryer

We have a 2018 Keystone Sprinter 3341FWLS (Bedroom in rear). RV is not pre-wired or plumbed for washer and dryer. Appears only space for W/D is in the bathroom. Has anyone installed W/D in this style RV? We plan to install stackable instead of combo.

I would sincerely appreciate any help. Keystone does not share wiring or plumbing diagrams. I am a total DIY guy, so I do not wish to take to service center.

You will need 120VAC service, hot and cold water lines, drain and if you use a vented dryer you’ll be putting a 4” hole in the sidewall.

Once you have that figured out, the install is straight forward. There is a kit that secures the dryer to the washer and also kits for the dryer exhaust vent. Catch pan under the washer is your choice as I have seen both, I would try to use one as I worked on a new Newmar high end MH with factory W/D and the washer leaked….

Thank you so much for your immediate input. Also, thank you for your service to your community... a very demanding career for you and your family. We are shopping tomorrow for the W/D units. As of now, we are looking at the Splendide DV6400X Dryer & WFL1300XD washer stackable. Wife does not want the W/D combo unit. Once complete, I will let you know.

We have the Splendide stackables and are happy. I would advise that you never let a "dryer sheet" get stuck in with the wash. Opening up the pump with a full washer to get a stuck dryer sheet out is "messy"....and you have to use a shop vac....a lot. Don't ask me how I know as I would probably be homeless if "she" found out.
