Windows leaking into track

I’ve got a new 401flft Residence. Got our first rain of the season and every window track filled with water. I’ve never had this with any trailer. Waiting to hear from the dealer, but being a weekend it won’t be quick and next week is calling for rain. Has anyone seen windows leaking this badly and have a permanent fix?

Window drains are all clear.

Welcome to the forum

If your getting rain water inside, I would suspect the windows aren’t sealed properly. The fix should be simple, run a bead of sealant across the top and about 1/2 way down the sides on the outside. There are several products on the market, and I would probably just do it before any water damage occurs causing major issues.

The leaks are in the sliders (horizontal and vertical) so sealant would effectively render the window inoperable.

Make sure factory removed the cut outs from the weep holes. It seems that step has been missed some.

From another site:

Found the culprit, at least some of it. Drain knock outs not removed for inner track. After more investigation, and leads from you, I found more holes from the inner track, leading to the exterior track, that were not opened properly. Glad I caught it before it became more of an issue. Thanks everyone. A little disappointed proper install was not managed. But....I guess it is what it is.

Sealant is applied to the EXTERIOR frame.

Geocel RV is clear and works well for your window application.
