Very interesting! You know, when I was a young truck driver, I used to think that the DMV should require that anyone over 65 or 70 should be required to take an annual driving test. I felt that this would go a long way toward getting these old, slow, overly cautious folks off the road and out of my way!
Especially the old guys pulling tailers and driving motor homes! Seems like they have nowhere to go and all day to get there! If thay all had to take a test - there would be fewer of them out on he road blocking traffic and delaying commerce!!
Now - I don't so much feel that way

I think it's just a matter of time before all states require RV over certain weight to have a endorsement. I know the DOT is getting a lot more strict with CDL holder. There are a lot of RV that are a lot heavier than some trucks on the road, not semi but box trucks. Just don't be surprised if it happens in your state someday.
