I would recommend sanitizing the water system before use. If antifreeze was used in the plumbing, you'll need to flush it out of the lines. If there was any contamination or if mold/fungus grew in the moist lines during the freeze/thaw cycles during storage, there may be some "unhealthy stuff" in the plumbing.

Flushing the lines and water heater well, then sanitizing it is the best way to assure you and your family stay healthy. Not much fun in 3 or 4 people competing for the one toilet at a campground caused by "bad water"...

I always flush and sanitize my fresh water tank. One event of dealing with 5 or 6 years of "mold growth in sour water" that was left in a fresh water tank and having to try to flush that stuff out of a trailer was enough to motivate me to always have a clean and healthy fresh water tank. All it takes is for one person to momentarily turn on the water pump and push some of that gunk into the lines to contaminate your entire trailer and set up "your perfect storm"...

+1 on JRTJH recommendations. - I probably over do it as we have taken 3 longer trips with the trailer in storage in between. So we flush before the first trip and sanitize before every trip.

Thank you for the advice reading what you said makes a lot of sense and the last thing I want to do is spend my whole camping trip in the restroom. So I guess I will be flushing and sanitizing in the spring. Not sure I will be doing it before every trip like jxnbbl but at least before the first trip anyway

Not long ago, wasn't there another thread where someone named their RV "Keith" ?

The only thing I named were boats. You can register a boat by name instead of hull number. It was common practice before cell phones when making a phone call via the marine operator to use the vessel's name. But I agree, whater blows your skirt up is ok with me.
