Keystone dealer service sucks

Bought a brand new outback this year from coopers rv, Murrysville, PA. The screen for the rear window was damaged before delivery and after repeated wrong deliveries and numerous phone call we still have no screen. 6 months now! They keep asking for dimensions and I keep giving them and no results. There are at least half a dozen more rv's in my campground that have received poor service.

Have you thought about taking the screen to a place that sells and repairs windows? Usually, they will replace torn screens or will repair the one that is damaged. If just the mesh is damaged, you can always get a piece of screen mesh at HD or other places along with a roll of screen "caulking" and DIY.

Sometimes, you can save yourself a lot of frustration and stress by simply forgetting about a dealer and its service department that doesn't understand the concept of "customer service". From your comments and the reported comments from others, why bother going back to them? Find yourself a new dealer!

Congrats on your new rig!! ENJOY

Have meant to stop in at Coopers to see what they have, Only talked to them a the convention center show. Although I am a firm believer in holding the dealer accountable to make it right, I have to agree with Festus2 on this issue. Unless you really live close, by the time you get an appointment then haul it there not sure is worth it. Unless of course you have a list of things for them to work on in addition to the screen. My two cents.

Get out and enjoy your new camper

Be Safe and Happy Camping

Or you can just pull it out, take it to them and tell them to measure it and fix it since they can't seem to understand your measurements. I find often times it's better to deal with difficult people when you have an item to display. For some reason they don't like a customer walking into the showroom with a damaged item making a statement that this is the part you been trying to get replaced over the phone and finally gave up and brought it in. Of course only do that if you are not concerned about future relations.

Do they have the same unit on the lot? Tell them you want the screen and they can order one for that unit. .
