Steadyfast installed!
The Steadyfast system has been installed on our 2012 Cougar 297RKS.
I looked at all the threads on this great forum and liked these.
In the driveway I noticed a difference. We are heading out for the long weekend (May) and I expect no movement.
I will advise after we return.

I installed one years ago. Love it. My friend just installed one on his trailer. You'll like it.

Well.. On a 30K plus camper, these should be factory installed. However, after 30K on the camper, if another $300 makes it that much better... With 3 boys in the 5'er, there is a VERY noticeable improvement. As rock solid as you can be, (my wife loves them so I love them)..LOL
Sure, there might be cheaper options, but for ease of operation and the job they do, it works for me!!

Trackstand,
There are other stabilizers out there, Steadyfast, JT Strongarm, and BAL Lockarms. I installed 3 sets of the BAL lock arms and they work great.

3 sets from Amazon would be almost 1/2 price of the Steadyfast. I can't tell you which works better, but I know the BAL work great on mine, never been around any of the other systems.

Rock Solid
Don't get much better than the Steady Fast Stabilizers I just installed.
First outing they seemed rock solid. Expect the same on our 2 week trip coming up.

Brian,
Great article, thanks for sharing it here.
Sometimes I think that stabilizing an RV is almost like discussing which brand of truck is better.... Between JT Strongarm, Steadyfast and Bal Lock-Arm system. All three do essentially the same job, somewhat different in design, but basically the same with some differences in a few features.
I think they all do a great job of stopping the shakes, expecially if you've tried everything else and aren't satisfied with the results.
Try one of these three, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how solid your RV feels.

Got Steadyfast on my rig, enjoyed them so much my daughter bought a set of Steadyfast for their camper for my soninlaw for their wedding anniversary.
They seemed pretty happy last week while we camped together.

I ordered mine from Campkins in Ontario.
Here as a matter of fact.

I did order the special bracket to get down past the bumper slides from Steadyfast. O made sure to have tit shipped USPS to avoid the UPS "Shipping to Canada" frustrations.
